Year four - Sub honours
In the fourth year of a degree involving Persian, students will enrol on Persian 4, as well asas well choices from a range of language-based options Persian language-based courses (e.g. Persian literature) as well as discursive options (e.g. Middle Eastern politics, Cinemas of the Middle East, Shi'ism, Sufism). Course options will vary based upon whether the student is undertaking a single or joint honours degree. All students will complete their honours dissertation -- an original research or analytical study of 10000 words -- during the fourth year.
